Information about Engineering Education Foundation<br />

Engineering Education Foundation (EEF) was established in Pune in 1996 as a Public<br />

Trust. It is a voluntary Non Government Organization (NGO). It is the only establishment <strong>of</strong> its<br />

kind in the country committed to play a key role in growth, development and achievement <strong>of</strong><br />

excellence in Engineering Education, in India.<br />

Our mission is to ensure quality and achievement <strong>of</strong> world class standards so that<br />

engineering institutions in India can hold their own standard against competition from foreign<br />

universities. It is also our objective to elevate engineering teaching to the status <strong>of</strong> a pr<strong>of</strong>ession,<br />

so that engineering educators command due respect in society. We also quarterly publish<br />

„Journal <strong>of</strong> Engineering Education‟ since 1986; we shall be publishing our 99 th quarterly issue in<br />

January 2012 which also be the XIII special issue which will be on the topic “Technological<br />

Universities <strong>of</strong> India”.


About the award:<br />

Objective:<br />

In order to promote technical education in state, Engineering Education Foundation Pune, has<br />

decided to give annual state award <strong>of</strong> Rs.5000/- for a Polytechnic <strong>Institute</strong> having best overall<br />

performance along with trophy and certificate.<br />

Eligibility:<br />

A.I.C.T.E./ D.T.E. approved Engineering institutes in Maharashtra. It is necessary that at<br />

least two batches <strong>of</strong> students have passed out from the college.<br />

Applications are invited in the prescribed format for the award.<br />
