Synthofil ®
Characteristics providing security:
■ High permanent tensile strength, exceeding more than twice
the USP requirements
■ Excellent knot holding ability, providing high knot security even
for long term wound support
■ Polyester is an inert material and provides very good tissue
compatibility
■ Non-capillarity due to a special coating
■ Contraindications: not known
Properties assuring comfortable handling:
■ Very good handling: silky and pliant with good snugging-down
effect
■ The special coating provides an excellent surface smoothness
for easy tissue passage and smooth knot run down
■ Uniform diameter all along thread
