the student's race.
PART 2: What is this student's race? (choose one or more)
original peoples of North and South America, including Central America,
and who maintains a tribal affiliation or community attachment.)
Asian. (A person having origins in any of the peoples of the Far East,
Southeast Asia, or the Indian Subcontinent, including, for example,
Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine
Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam.)
Black or African American. (A person having origins in any of the Black
racial groups of Africa.)
Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander. (A person having origins in
any of the original peoples of Hawaii, Guam, Samoa or other Pacific
Islands.)
A new update screen for continuing students will be provided so student
race/ethnicity information can be updated quickly. A screen to update employment
status for continuing students will be provided also so that this information can also
be updated more easily. More detailed information will be provided in the August
mailing.
c) Assessment Related Changes
These are the two new approved tests for FY11 so these tests will appear in the
assessment panel:
TABE 9/10 (replaces forms 7/8)
TABE CLAS-E (replaces REEP)
The TABE 7/8 and REEP tests given in May or June cannot be copied over to FY11.
There will be new assessment reports available in the “Site” section for these two new
assessments.
