Braided elastics<br />
The golden zigzag thread in the products indicates<br />
braided production.<br />
When stretched, the elastics get narrower. The elastic<br />
threads are arranged next to each other and are evenly<br />
distributed, e.g. “Standard elastic”.<br />
Knitted/crocheted elastics<br />
Knitted/crocheted elastics are available for fine, lightweight<br />
fabrics, e.g. “Elastic tape soft” and “Shirring elastic”.<br />
Woven elastics<br />
Woven elastics have weft and warp threads. The threads<br />
are arranged lengthwise and crosswise to the direction<br />
of the elastic. When stretched, the elastic tape<br />
width remains the same, e.g. “Elastic tape”.<br />
Over-braided elastics<br />
In over-braided elastics, the elastic threads are arranged<br />
in the centre and over-braided by textile threads. They<br />
are used for “Baby elastic”, over-braided by particularly<br />
soft threads, and for “Elastic cords”.<br />
