1.17 Approval of Technical Reports (Continued)<br />
1.17.3.11 Ballot of Electronic Databases<br />
1.17.3.10.2.2 All references will be updated in limited scope revisions.<br />
1.17.3.10.2.3 Technical Committees will be limited to one limited scope<br />
revision before a full technical revision is required.<br />
1.17.3.10.2.4 A limited scope revision will reset the five-year review<br />
clock.<br />
1.17.3.10.2.5 Councils reserve the right to send the Technical Report<br />
back to the Technical Committee for a full revision.<br />
1.17.3.10.2.6 Rationale must state the current revision is limited in<br />
scope. The changes to the document must also be listed<br />
in the rationale.<br />
Electronic Databases that are created as an annex to a Standard will be titled xxxx-Data<br />
(ex. J2012-Data or AS3420-Data). These databases will be balloted separately from the<br />
corresponding Standard. As the data in the database is approved by the committee prior<br />
to being entered into the database, a Data document will only require a 14-day<br />
affirmation ballot to the technical committee.<br />
