Matapwa Mitundumbea Namatimbili 3. RESULTS 3.1. Botanical 3.1.1. General overview of vegetation from the forests A total of 377 plant species were identified and recorded from the forests that were surveyed Namatimbili Forest (including Namatimbili gorge), Mitundumbea and Namatapwa Forests (see Table 3.1). Specimens collected with Mligo field numbers are indicated in Table 3.2. Of the total of 377 plant species, 313 were recorded in Namatimbili forest including Namatimbili gorge, 202 in Matapwa Forest and 151 in Mitundumbea.
