OPENING PRAYER:
At 7:35 pm the meeting was brought to order by Parents’ Club Co-President Kathy Loy who led us in a
prayer.
THE MEETING:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April Hanes-Dowd moved to approve the minutes and Erin McMahon
seconded the motion.
PRESIDENTS' REPORT: Kathy Loy & Lori Cataldo
A postcard was sent to incoming freshman families that currently don't have other students in the school.
The invite was to encourage the parents to come to the final 2 Parents' Club meetings, as well as the
Blooming Boutique which is this Thursday. They also talked about the $3162.50 deposit that the senior
class put down for the boat for Post Prom. Since we switched the venue to Pinstripes we did not want to
lose the deposit so we donated it to the Advancement Office. They will use the boat for a party of 40 and
bundle it with other things and put together a nice auction item for the Night of the Lion. Erin McMahon
made a motion to switch the funds and donate it to the Advancement Office for this purpose. Linda
Falotico seconded the motion. It was put to a vote and was passed.
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT: Eileen Manno
Next Wednesday is the induction ceremony for the juniors that will be admitted into the National Honor
Society. Eileen also mentioned that the Easter Egg Hunt is this Sunday, March 18. Grades for 3rd quarter
will be posted this week.
Eileen clarified some dates for next year's calendar. The first day of school is August 22. August 28 is the
Fashion Show Parent's meeting at 7 p.m. and the Fashion Show Rehearsal will be on Oct 14. Cheers 'n
Tears will be held on February 22.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Mary Baur
Our balance right now is $37,363.61 in the general fund and $6648.67 in the senior events fund. Floral
Show has some costs incurred but will be showing a positive balance after the event this Thursday,
March 15. Most of the monies will be distributed at the end of the year, but they will hold back a little in
general to cover some costs that will be needed for deposits on the Fashion Show at the beginning of the
year. It will be important to have a good attendance at April's meeting to vote for the distribution of funds.

CORRESPONDING SECRETARIES: April Hanes-Dowd
The nominating committee is still looking for a Recording Secretary. (Take it from me.... easy job.) They
also need someone to head up the Website/Line Lions/Publicity position.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
FASHION SHOW: Andrea Trovato
The event is being moved to a Friday, October 19 next year. It will be more of an evening function that will
be more conducive to a social event that the dads will want to attend as well. They will be using the
Meadow Club for the event.
SPRING BOUTIQUE- Diane Beletti & Kathy Copley
The event is this Thursday, March 15. You can buy your ticket at the door. There will be flowers, vendors,
beer/wine. Please come out and support your school. It should be a lot of fun!
HOSPITALITY - Linda Falotico & Dawn Thompson
National Honor Society reception is the next event and then the graduation reception that Nadine
Schreiber and Mary Van Der Bosch will be running.
CLASS REPS -
Nothing to Report
SENIOR EVENTS & POST PROM- Molly Wolfe
They will not need faculty at Pinstripes for chaperones as we were required to hire 4 security guards. This
results in a positive balance of $360. The students are working with Mrs. Novak for the design of the
senior t-shirts.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR- Nothing to report
MARKETING/WEB PAGE & LION LINES- Nothing to report
SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS:
We will be hosting another musical venue next December 1. It will be a Chicago cover band and we will
work with Patrons of the Arts again. The startup costs will be split between the two groups as well as the
profit.
NEW BUSINESS: Nothing to report
OLD BUSINESS:
Lori Cataldo is bringing an example of the Parent's Club poster to the next meeting for review and
suggestions. Kathy Loy is working on getting the banner donated.

8:33.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathleen Guth
