Surestart will be making paper lanterns to float on the lake, and dancing dragons and lions to take home
Scarborough Guides will be organising parachute games on the grass between the café and lake shelter

Static exhibits
Chainsaw Sculpture – Steve Iredale can be found next to the yacht pond at the beginning of the Glen creating tree sculptures for
the park.
11.30 – 16.00 Birds of Prey – Betton Farm bring a selection of wonderful birds of prey including baby Snowy Owls. Display can be
found on the top lawn near the aeroplane launch on Peasholm Drive side.
Evening Entertainment
19.15 – 21.15 – Film in the café, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
21.30 – Lantern release onto the lake.

Betton Farm is located at East Ayton. The Betton birds of prey &
conservation Centre offers a range and variety of methods of
interaction with raptors and birds of prey. The facility offers
educational and awareness on the eagle, owls, hawks and falcons
kept at the Centre.
Sarah Garbacz - NYCC Community Resource Centre in Eastfield,
part of the library service.
Katie Chaplin of Japan Crafts is available to give a variety of halfand
full-day workshops in Japanese crafts. Workshops include
origami and papercraft, card making, fabric origami, bead work,
mizuhiki and more.
