<strong>2008</strong><br />
<strong>Scottish</strong> <strong>Screen</strong> is delighted to present<br />
this selection of some of the best short<br />
films from Scotland. The wide range of<br />
styles, themes and genres on offer here<br />
represents the wealth of talent and quality<br />
of filmmaking in the country. Featuring<br />
fiction, documentary and animated films,<br />
many of these titles have already enjoyed<br />
success while others are ripe for discovery.<br />
<strong>Scottish</strong> <strong>Screen</strong> exists to support, develop<br />
and promote the screen industries in<br />
Scotland. That includes nurturing new<br />
talent such as that showcased here.<br />
Many of the films featured have received<br />
investment from <strong>Scottish</strong> <strong>Screen</strong> either<br />
directly or through one of our talent<br />
development initiatives.<br />
We are pleased to help promote these<br />
filmmakers’ work and talents through this<br />
