للمملكة العربية السعودية،‏ وهذه المواقع على أهميتها ومكانتها ليست
بالتأكيد جميع المواقع التي كان من الممكن أن تكون بين دفتيه.‏
إال أن هذه المجموعة المصورة أعدت خصيصاً‏ لتمثل مايمكن أن يكون
خريطة أولية.‏
ويسر الهيئة العامة للسياحة واآلثار أن تقدم لكم هذا الكتاب الذي هو
في الواقع كتابا مصدراً‏ للمواقع،‏ شاكره للجهود المختلفة التي أنتجت
هذا الكتاب ومنها مجموعة المصورين الشباب الذين توجهوا إلى المناطق
القديمة والبعيدة لجمع هذه الباقة الجديدة من الصور المختلفة.‏
This book contains around 50 architectural heritage sites of the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia. These sites, as historically significant as they are, by no means
encompass all those that could have been included. However, this selection
has been specially prepared to represent a preliminary map of the Kingdom’s
heritage.
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities is pleased to present to you
this work, which would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of
all those who contributed, most notably the young photographers who visited
ancient and remote areas to compile this new collection of images from around
the country.
