يقع »قصر شدا« في وسط مدينة أبها<br />
حيث تم تشييده عام 1348ه )1927م(<br />
بتوصية من المغفور له جاللة الملك<br />
عبد العزيز للشيخ عبد الوهاب أبو ملحة<br />
مدير مالية أبها آنذاك، وكان بمثابة<br />
القلب النابض لمدينة أبها لفترة من الزمن،<br />
حيث كان مقراً ألمير المنطقة، ويتميز<br />
بأنه يأخذ شكل المباني الصخرية، ويرتفع<br />
لعدة طوابق تضيق كلما اتجهنا لألعلى،<br />
ويحمل سمات العمارة المحلية، وقد زينت<br />
أركانه بحلي زخرفية وكرانيش موجودة<br />
على الدور العلوي وفتحات طويلة، وقد<br />
تم ترميم القصر وحول إلى متحف بأمر من<br />
أمير منطقة عسير، وتم افتتاحه رسمياً<br />
في 2 محرم 1408ه، ويضم بين أدواره<br />
األربعة العديد من األدوات المنزلية القديمة<br />
واألدوات الزراعية واألسلحة واألزياء القديمة<br />
وبعض المخطوطات والمسكوكات،<br />
وقد روعي في طريقة العرض أن تكون<br />
حسب تقسيم البيت العسيري القديم،<br />
وبأسماء الغرف القديمة، ويجد الزائر في<br />
الممرات وصاالت القصر بعض األمثال<br />
الشعبية وبعض الصور الفوتوغرافية التي<br />
تعكس حياة مدينة أبها في النصف الثاني<br />
من القرن الماضي.<br />
Shada Palace is located in the city<br />
of Abha. It was built in 1348 AH<br />
(1927 AD) on the recommendation<br />
of the late King Abdul Aziz to Sheikh<br />
Abdul-Wahab Abu Malha, who was<br />
in charge of the city’s finances at that<br />
time, and it served as the heart of the<br />
city of Abha for a period of time.<br />
The palace was the headquarters<br />
for the Prince of the region, and is<br />
characterized by its features that take<br />
the form of rocky buildings, which<br />
narrow as they reach their upper<br />
levels. It exhibits attritbutes of local<br />
architecture, and has been restored<br />
and turned into a museum by order<br />
of the Governor of Asir, and formally<br />
opened on 2 Muharram 1408 AH.<br />
It includes within its 4 floors several<br />
old household items and agricultural<br />
tools, weapons, uniforms and some<br />
old manuscripts and coins.<br />
