Indonesia <strong>in</strong> 1985. Named by Indonesian<br />
prosecutors as the coord<strong>in</strong>ator of Jemaah Islamiyah<br />
operations <strong>in</strong> Jakarta <strong>in</strong> 1983-1985. Returned to<br />
Indonesia with Abu Bakar Ba'asyir <strong>in</strong> November<br />
1999, settled <strong>in</strong> Pulau Baru, Kalimantan. Arrested<br />
<strong>in</strong> August 2003 as Muklis.<br />
Muchtar Daeng Lao, head of the military<br />
committee for Majelis Mujahid<strong>in</strong> Indonesia,<br />
arrested <strong>in</strong> the December 2002 bomb<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong><br />

of the central command, head of Mantiqi III.<br />
Studied medic<strong>in</strong>e <strong>in</strong> Semarang before transferr<strong>in</strong>g<br />
to Gajah Mada University <strong>in</strong> Yogyakarta to study<br />
veter<strong>in</strong>ary science. Never got degree. Afghan<br />
veteran, <strong>in</strong>structor <strong>in</strong> M<strong>in</strong>danao. Arrested 8 July<br />
2003.<br />
Nasir Abbas alias Chairud<strong>in</strong>, brother-<strong>in</strong>-law of<br />
Ali Gufron alias Mukhlas, deputy to Mustopa,<br />
appo<strong>in</strong>ted head of Mantiqi III, arrested April 2003,<br />
Bekasi.<br />
Noord<strong>in</strong> Moh, top Malaysian explosives expert,<br />
<strong>still</strong> at large as of August 2003, graduate of<br />
Malaysian Technical Institute (UTM). Reportedly<br />
<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> plann<strong>in</strong>g for Bali bomb.<br />
Noralwizah Lee, Ch<strong>in</strong>ese-Malaysian wife of<br />
Hambali, orig<strong>in</strong>ally from Sabah.<br />
Nuim alias Zuhroni, Afghan veteran, head of his<br />
