Studying treatments for adolescent and adult depression. Identifying predictors, moderators, and mediators<br />
of empirically supported treatments (ESTs) for depression and anxiety. Conducting effectiveness research<br />
in training clinic settings. Evaluating dissemination models of ESTs. Collaborating with community mental<br />
health centers to implement ESTs and evaluate efforts.<br />
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, JULY (2010) - present<br />
<strong>Research</strong> Associate, Advisor: Kate Comtois, PhD<br />
Project 1: <strong>Seattle</strong> <strong>Research</strong> <strong>Implementation</strong> Conference. Assisting in the organization of a 3-conference<br />
series on dissemination and implementation (DIS) of evidence based psychosocial interventions. Lead of<br />
junior mentorship program. Wrote piece for DIS SIG ABCT newsletter.<br />
Project 2: Comprehensive Review of Dissemination and <strong>Implementation</strong> Science Instruments. Coordinating<br />
the work of RAs at three sites (University of Washington, University of Montana, Indiana University) to<br />
conduct a comprehensive review of the implementation science literature to identify instruments used in the<br />
field. Leading international expert workgroup (Instrument Review Task force) to develop and assign<br />
empirical support ratings and create a measures library for interested stakeholders. Working with a website<br />
developer to host library and facilitate ongoing review. Manuscript and presentation preparation.<br />

Project 1: Treatment for Adolescents with Depression Study (TADS). Investigated predictors, moderators<br />
and mediators of response to TADS. Examined broader issues such as site differences and effect of<br />
blinding.<br />
Project 2: Madison Center. Examined the feasibility and effectiveness of a CBT for depression<br />
dissemination model. Participated in CBT workshop and ongoing, tri-weekly phone consultation for one<br />
year. Rated 36 videotaped therapy sessions as per the Cognitive Therapy Rating Scale.<br />
Project 3: CBT Training Clinic Effectiveness Study. Orchestrated the compilation of a database housing the<br />
previous four years of archived files. Created a computer system for ongoing, self-sustained data entry.<br />
Conducted effectiveness and psychotherapy process research.<br />
Project 4: LaneCare CBT Dissemination Project. Investigated the feasibility and effectiveness of a CBT<br />
training model in terms of therapist competency and client outcomes. Co-created two, 6-hour workshops as<br />
part of a CBT for depression dissemination study. Supervised RAs responsible for communication with<br />
agencies, data collection and entry. Trained community clinicians to deliver CBT.<br />
