The Cerner ProVision picture archiving and
communications system (PACS) solution
combines extensive image viewing and
analysis capabilities with a simple, intuitive
user interface. To provide you with increased
flexibility, the Cerner ProVision Workstation
(CPW) is available in a wide range of
multi-monitor and ultra-high resolution
configurations.

Cerner ProVision PACS functions in either
stand-alone configurations or in concert with
the Cerner RadNet ® Radiology Information
System. A multi-monitor configuration unifies
RadNet Radiology Desktop with the Cerner
ProVision PACS. This allows you to combine
clinical information with report-creation tools
and images.
Work in real time
CPW runs on standard PCs and provides your
department with a broad spectrum of tools.
Users may customize CPW to suit individual
preferences. Automated presentation protocols,
for example, render current and prior studies
into a clinically relevant, personalized display.
Roaming user profiles allow the immediate
availability of radiologists’ viewing preferences
and authorizations at log-in.
CPW helps you increase productivity, presenting
pertinent information with a high degree of
automation through such tools as auto-window/
level, cross-referencing and customizable
toolbars. This comprehensive solution is your

ProVision PACS includes one-touch workflow
and specialized modality-specific tools. CPW
is a comprehensive, high-volume diagnostic
soft-copy reading station. It uses powerful,
user-defined viewing protocols and advanced
post-processing tools, such as multi-planar
reconstruction (MPR).

Optimized for multi-modality soft-copy reading,
the CPW incorporates modality-specific
tools. These include such features as cine,
cross-referenced scout views, enhanced
management of multi-sequence MR or
large multi-slice CT studies, comprehensive
annotation, measurements and MPR.

prior studies with auto linking, synchronized
scrolling and multiple window/level settings

Vendor-neutral Enterprise Archive
Images from the CareAware MultiMedia
archive are immediately transmitted into the
display of CPW. Users view images as soon as
the system receives them instead of waiting for
the image set to be stored to the workstation
hard disk and then transmitted to display.
Unified RIS and PACS
When you unify Cerner ProVision PACS with
Cerner’s market-leading RadNet RIS, you
enable a seamless solution architecture
that synchronizes data and images. Cerner’s
cohesive, unified RIS/PACS solutions allow
interpreting radiologists to move freely
from the RadNet Radiology Desktop to the
Cerner ProVision PACS viewing and image
manipulation tools.
