MTR135 > EFFICIENT STREET LIGHTING = CLIMATE PROTECTION
The intelligent energy-saving retrofit solution for replacing
mercury lamps and modernising your lighting system
The newly developed selux MTR135 prismatic refractor is a special energysaving
retrofit solution designed for existing lighting fittings. It allows a simple
switch from HQL to HIT-CE lamps and provides enhanced lighting quality
with highly efficient light control. Depending on the retrofit option selected,
savings in wattage of between 44 and 56 per cent are possible, with
corresponding dramatic reductions in CO 2 emissions, whilst maintaining the
same luminous flux.
Retrofit solutions are available
MTR135 > SAVING ENERGY = REDUCING CO2 + OFFERING LIGHTING QUALITY THAT INCORPORATES EFFICIENT LIGHT CONTROL
Highly efficient white light
The selux MTR135 prismatic refractor has been developed by a team of engineers at Semperlux AG for use with the
latest generation of high-intensity discharge, metal halide lamps with ceramic burner (HIT-CE).
selux MTR refractor technology has withstood the test of time, and the MTR135 is the latest development.
Symmetrical
Asymmetrical
Optimum light control combined with glare-free visual comfort
Light is controlled by a computer-designed prismatic refractor in the form of a precision-made seamless glass cylinder.
The optics incorporated inside the cylinder increase the beam angle to 90°. External fresnel prisms direct the light to
where it is needed, making the maximum use of the available luminous flux and at the same time reducing glare.
The selux MTR135 refractor is a patented product.
Symmetrical / asymmetrical light distribution shielded towards building facade
Optional clip-on prismatic diffuser lenses convert symmetrical light distribution to asymmetrical, preventing light spill
onto building facades. The lenses ensure that all light is directed to here it is needed, with no waste, unlike conventional
technologies (perforated metal shields, for example).
A small investment for a great effect!
