Type I
A distribution is classified as Type I when
the 50% maximum candela trace lies within
1.0 MH on the street side of the reference
line.
Type II
A distribution is classified Type II when the
50% maximum candela trace lies within
1.75 MH on the street side of the reference
line.
Type III
A distribution is classified as Type III when
the 50% maximum candela trace lies within
2.75 MH on the street side of the reference
line.
Type IV
A distribution is classified as Type IV when
the 50% maximum candela trace lies beyond
2.75 MH on the street side of the reference
line.
Type V
A distribution is classified as Type V when it
has circular/square symmetry being essentially
the same at all lateral anlges around
the luminaire.
Light distribution of the modules can be optimally adjusted for various
applications by flexible alignment of optics. Depending on the street
width, luminous flux can be distributed more parallel with the direction
of traffic or toward the opposite side of the street.
