What Is a Laser Beam Printer (LBP)?<br />

Laser Beam Printer (LBP)<br />

A type of printer that arranges data transferred from a PC in a specified page layout, then uses a<br />

laser beam to produce an image of the page on a photoconductive drum, <strong>and</strong> electrostatically<br />

transfers the image to paper.<br />

Laser beam printers (also known as page printers) are capable of high-resolution, high-speed<br />

printing <strong>and</strong> are widely used in offices including SOHOs.<br />
