Two Setra S 416 HDH for Schlienz Travel:
“A new dimension in coach travel”
Schlienz Travel had been organising group tours for close to 80 years. The successful tour operator
is further enhancing its standards of service with two new luxurious Setra coaches.

Recently, Schlienz has been offering a new
dimension in coach travel with its two luxurious
S 416 HDH Setra coaches. In fact,
with its “SuperClass 2+1” offering, Schlienz
is the first tour operator in southern Germany
to provide passengers with this level
of luxury.
Three thickly upholstered, ergonomically
shaped Ambassador recliners in leather
and fabric, and with extra-wide seats, open
up a lot of space in each row of seats. Panoramic
windows and a glass roof ensure an
excellent view, while a DVB-T tuner and
iPod/laptop connection ensure state-ofthe-art
access to entertainment. A hot
beverage dispenser also contributes to
pampering passengers. The Adaptive Cruise
Control feature with Active Brake Assist
(ABA) and Lane Assist make for exceptional
safety.
Schlienz’s two new flagship coaches are
not only impressive on the inside. The
coach’s paintwork in metallic black anthracite
is a real eye-catcher. And finally, as
Schlienz Travel promises customers on its
website, the coach’s eco-friendly 335 kW
engine makes every journey worth the ride.

In the last SetraFamily issue, with our “Looking for young designers” campaign, we called on our
young readers to create their very own Setra artwork – with impressive results!
T
he response was overwhelming:
SetraFamily’s editorial team received
many really creative Setra
designs! And we would like to thank all the
young artists who submitted their artwork.
Ideally, we would have liked to reward
each and every one of them. We enjoyed
them all – and each one was very special in
its own way. But unfortunately, we only had
11 prizes to award.
The first prize goes to Hungary
The main prize, an Aiptek Media Tablet
14000U graphic tablet, goes to Nikolett
Havlik, 15 years old, from Hatvan in Hungary.
With its imaginative design and attention to
detail, her design for a Setra bus convinced
us that she deserved to be awarded the
first prize. More prizes for further impressive
