Personnel Agenda <br />
<strong>January</strong> 17, 2012 <br />
The District Superintendent recommends the following resolutions for adoption: <br />
1. Tenure: <br />
a. BE IT RESOLVED, that on the recommendation of the Superintendent of <strong>School</strong>s, <br />
the Board hereby grants Tara Peters tenure in the tenure area of Art Teacher <br />
effective <strong>January</strong> 4, <strong>2013</strong>. <br />
2. Termination: <br />
3. Resignations: <br />
a. BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education accepts the resignation of <br />
Vaughan, Lawrence as IT Temp effective December 14, 2012. <br />
b. BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education accepts the resignation of Soto, <br />
Felipe as Teacher Aide (Kaplan Academy) effective <strong>January</strong> 1, <strong>2013</strong>. <br />
4. Appointments: <br />
a. BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves the appointment of Soto, <br />
Felipe to the probationary position of <strong>School</strong> Monitor (Kaplan Academy) effective <br />
<strong>January</strong> 2, <strong>2013</strong> (Step 1 $29,568). <br />
5. Abolished Positions: <br />
WHEREAS, the Board for reasons of economic necessity and efficiency, has determined that it <br />
needs to abolish a certain pedagogical position in the District; <br />
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board hereby abolishes the following position, <br />
effective close of business on <strong>January</strong> 25, <strong>2013</strong>; <br />
1.0 FTE Social Worker position; <br />
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the affected employee who is entitled to Part 30 bumping <br />
rights shall be notified, in writing, of their right to a position in a previous tenure area of <br />
service and of their placement on a preferred eligibility list in the tenure area(s) of their <br />
employment regarding their statutory recall rights; and <br />
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said employee who is not entitled to Part 30 bumping rights <br />
shall be notified, in writing, of their placement on a preferred eligibility list in the tenure <br />
area(s) of their employment regarding their statutory recall rights. <br />
6. Other: <br />
a. Be It Resolved that the Board of Education rescinds, effective <strong>January</strong> 17, <strong>2013</strong>, that <br />
portion of the resolution adopted November 8, 2012 authorizing individual health <br />
insurance coverage for Rachelle Jones during the period of her unpaid leave of <br />
absence from October 1, 2012 through September 3, <strong>2013</strong>.
