Job title:<br />

Junior inspector and laser etcher<br />

Department:<br />

Race and rally manufacturing<br />

Reporting to:<br />

Quality manager<br />

Job purpose:<br />

• To laser etch all internal and external manufactured parts in accordance with<br />

<strong>Prodrive</strong> Drawing specification. Junior Inspector trainee duties Including conformity<br />

to drawing, part traceability, NDT inspection and accurate recording of<br />

information.<br />

Key responsibilities:<br />

• Adhoc duties as specified by Senior Quality Control Supervisor or Quality Manager.<br />

• Laser Etch all parts as specified on the drawing.<br />

• Measurement of all non-sensitive components.<br />

• Keeping all Inspection areas tidy.<br />

• In putting parts into IFS system.<br />

• Destroying all old drawings and documents (Shredding)<br />

• Filing of Drawings.<br />

• NDT MPI/DPI inspection of parts (Training will be provided )<br />

Education / qualifications<br />

• 1/2 years experience within a batch prototype-manufacturing environment.<br />

• Preferred industry would be motorsport /Engineering Background<br />

• experience within a batch prototype-manufacturing environment.(a advantage)<br />

• Preferred industry would be motorsport and/or research and development.<br />

Special aptitudes<br />

• A can do approach. Must possess a positive attitude and display the ability to<br />

identify alternative solutions to problems.<br />

• Relentless in exceeding customer expectations and continually exceeding goals.<br />

• A commitment to achieving the best solutions i.e. rigorous approach to work.<br />

• Creativity. Endeavour to find new ways of doing things and learn from past<br />

experiences.<br />
