Lenten Opportunities<br />
Adoration - Wednesdays during Lent<br />
from 8:15 - 11:00 am. Please see the flyer for details.<br />
Martha Committee – this group assists SLUH families<br />
and staff in time of need (meals, rides, prayers, etc.). If<br />
interested contact Jackie Olson at<br />
olsonhaystack@aol.com, or at 636-458-2498.<br />
Daily Mass - parents are always welcome to celebrate<br />
daily Mass at 7:20 am in the <strong>St</strong>udent Chapel.<br />
Library Volunteers for 2013-14 <strong>School</strong> Year<br />
We are looking for volunteers to help shelve, cover books,<br />
and other small projects next year. No library experience<br />
required, but knowledge of the dewey decimal system is<br />
helpful. We are very flexible and you can work as much or<br />
little as you want. On average our volunteers would work<br />
one day a week for an hour or two. Please email Cortney<br />
Schraut at cschraut@sluh.org with your name, email and<br />
or phone number and when you might like to volunteer.<br />
If possible we would like you to be trained by our current<br />
Mom Volunteers towards the end of the school year.<br />
Thank you and we appreciate your continued support and<br />
help in the library.<br />

Here in the Cashbah Royale pit, we've been going all in as<br />
the auction rapidly approaches!<br />

CASINO NIGHT:<br />
<strong>St</strong>art the party early by attending Casino Night on Friday,<br />
<strong>March</strong> 22, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $25 and<br />
entitle card sharks to $100 in casino money as well as drinks<br />
and appetizers. Cash In your winnings to buy raffle tickets<br />
for the chance to win a great prize. Walk-ins welcome, no<br />
charge to preview the auction items. Ante up!<br />

Family Mass<br />

Grandparents’ Mass<br />
Invitations have been mailed to all current Grandparents<br />
for the upcoming Grandparents’ Mass on April 21 st at 9:30<br />
a.m. in the Si Commons. If your son(s)’ grandparents did<br />
not receive an invitation, please contact Connie Leinauer<br />
(cleinauer@sluh.org -or- 314-269-2116) with their<br />
address information so we can mail them an invitation.<br />
Please encourage them to attend with their grandsons!
Blazers Needed<br />
Help a Loyola boy graduate middle school in style! Pull out<br />
your gently used navy blazers and drop at the SLUH<br />
switchboard marked "Mothers Club/Loyola." They will be<br />
forwarded to our brother school, Loyola Academy of <strong>St</strong>.<br />
<strong>Louis</strong>. All sizes appreciated!<br />
NHS Box Top Collection<br />
There will be a box top collecting contest from April<br />
1st through the 12th. Please save your box tops and send<br />
them in with your son in an envelope or bag with their<br />
homeroom number on it. All the box tops go to Loyola<br />
Academy and the winning homerooms will receive<br />
doughnuts.<br />
Billiken Socks<br />
All sock orders have been filled. Some were distributed<br />
through your son during lunch. Additional socks are still<br />
available for $15/each. If you have not received your<br />
order please contact us after Spring Break at<br />
moms@sluh.org.<br />
SLUH Shorts for Sale<br />
Need something for your sons' Easter baskets? SLUH<br />
shorts are available for $20. This fundraiser supports the<br />
Senior Lock-In. Click here for a picture.<br />

Senior Parents – Important Information<br />
Thanks to Simonie Anzalone for taking time to<br />
teach us a few dance steps. If you were unable to<br />
attend or want a refresher, click here for<br />
instructions.<br />
Graduation party supplies will be ordered next<br />
week. If you didn't get your form in, it's not too<br />
late. Orders will be delivered at Senior Follies.<br />
Reservations for the April 7th Mom Prom are due<br />
<strong>March</strong> 15th. A copy of the invitation is<br />
available online.<br />
The Lock-In registration form is also due <strong>March</strong><br />
15th. Please register your son and order his T-<br />
shirt. Donations are also being requested.<br />
Please participate in our Senior Raffle. You<br />
could win a 13" hand painted Class of 2013<br />
platter, a sterling silver Billiken charm, a Billiken<br />
garden stone, or a commemorative Class of 2013<br />
Paul Jasso photo. Drawing will be held May 1st.<br />
