district,—pair Well<strong>in</strong>gton boots, and pair white mole/<br />

trowsers, the property of William Miles. Suspicioi<br />

attaches to a man answer<strong>in</strong>g the follow<strong>in</strong>g descrij<br />

tiOD, name unknown,—short, clean shaved, dressed<br />

"Shamrock" hotel, Perth,—bottle of rum, the property<br />

been recovered.<br />

On the 20th ult., from Samuel G. Butchart's<br />

premises, Rottnest Island,—red morocco purse conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />

half-sovereign and some silver, the property<br />

of Samuel G. Butchart. Hartley Bowen alias Wm.y<br />

Brown, Eeg. <strong>No</strong>. 10269, suspected.—C.L 348.<br />

On the 25th June last, from the " Victoria Arms "<br />

hotel, Eoebourne,—pair dark woollen cord trowsers, /<br />

and white woollen shirt with pocket on lelt side, the /<br />
