Special Inquiry.
Officers in charge of Sub-distncts will cause in- /
auiries to be made relative to Henry Brocklesby,
exp., late Reg. No. 9090, having been married in
Western Australia. This man left the Colony for
London per Bonnie Lassie on the 25th August, 1878,
and prior to his departure, is believed to have been
twice married, viz., in Bunbury and Geraldton, and
that both wives are still living in this Colony. Information
to Detective Ofiice, with particulars of
marriage (if any) and whereabouts of female contracting
parties.
Officers in charge of Sub-districts will cause inquiries
to be made, and notify all Banks, Stores, and
Pubhc-houses in their Sub-districts, relative to a
cheque, on the W. A. Bank, Bunbury, dated 1st July,
1881, drawn by W. Pearce Clifton, R.M., Government
account, favor P.C. Bovell, or order, amount
ISs. 6d. The above cheque, together with a " Pauf
per" Account Sheet, was enclosed in an ofiicial
envelope, franked by W. Pearce Clifton, Eesident
.f Magistrate, Bunbury, and forwarded through Bun­
' hury Post Office to P.C. Bovell, Bridgetown, on the
4th July last, but has not reached its destination.

SATILLOS is reported by Newcastle Police to be at
Toodyay Valley, under engagement to Mr. Charles E.
Dempster.
Officers in charge of Sub-districts will cause inquiries
to be made as to the present whereabouts of
John Smith, exp., late 7857, and report anything
that may be known by the Police respecting him.
Description: slight, age 38, Sft. 2in. high, red hair,
grey eyes, long visage, fair complexion, 3 rings and
blue marks near left thumb, scar right side of up>per
lip. Information to Detective Office, Perth.
