emission rates (especially N 2 O)<br />
‣ Type <strong>and</strong> extent of fossil energy used in<br />
life-cycle<br />
‣ L<strong>and</strong> use changes: CO 2 debt created<br />
by l<strong>and</strong> clearing <strong>and</strong> new cultivation<br />
