National and International Collaborations
The focus area researchers have established collaborations with researchers from
international institutions such as Human Development Foundation, Bhubaneswar, India,
Jawaharlal Nehru University India, Department of Gender and Development, Asian Institute
of Technology, Thailand, Faculty of Medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Kathmandu Medical
College, Nepal.
The focus area researchers collaborate with a large number of researchers affiliated to
Norwegian (national) institutions. In her research and consultation activities on asylum
seekers and immigration, Berit Berg works closely with government authorities such as The
Directorate of Immigration/UDI and The Directorate of Integration and Diversity /IMDi as
well as organizations such as the Norwegian Organization of Asylum seekers/ NOAS and
HERO.
