The auction will take place from Thursday, March 17 through Thursday, March 31. We are asking individuals or businesses or if you know of an individual or business who would like to donate an item or a service for the auction to please contact Ron Ravenelle at 508-347-3826 or via email at ronrave@charter.net for more information. All donations must be received no later than Saturday, March 5 so that we may format the auction for publication. In 2008 we raised in excess of $3,000 dollars, over $3,000 in 2009, and over $4,000 in 2010. In the three years the annual silent auction has run, we have raised over $10,000 for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient support. PERSONALIZED SCULPTURE The Southbridge Relay For Life DREAM TEAM wants to know if you would like to give someone a blessing. If you know of someone who is sick or living on hard times right now,and could use a blessing, give them a very personalized gift that will lift their spirits and let them know that they are being thought of and prayed for. SCRATCH TICKET RAFFLE Relay For Life of the Greater Southbridge Area is currently selling raffle tickets for a “Scratch Ticket Basket.” There are 60 scratch tickets in $5, $10 and $20 denominations for a total of $500 in scratch tickets. For a $5 chance the odds of winning are 1 in 500 as only 500 tickets will be sold. The drawing is scheduled to take place at Relay on Friday, June 17, 2011 or sooner if all 500 tickets are sold before.
