Conclusion
Early childhood educators must believe that all children regardless of differences in
race, language, gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, nationality, abilities,
exceptionalities and geographical placement can and will learn when given proper
instruction. They must also believe that true ability and talent have no color, race,
ethnicity, or gender. Particular talents are not limited to any one group of individuals.
This is an ideal that will become evident if you choose to expect, respect, and accept
the differences our children bring to the learning environment.
