Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) initiated the TF-2000 Program
to meet the Anti-Air Warfare Frigate requirement of Turkish Naval Forces
Command. In this regard, Request for Information (RFI) is issued by SSM to
gather administrative, financial and technical information for the below
mentioned systems from relevant companies/organizations for planning
purposes of the Program.
Directed Infrared Counter Measures
Electric Generation and Distribution Systems
Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning (HVAC)
Integrated Platform Management System
Laser Directed / Kinetic Energy Weapons
Main Propulsion System
Naval Gun System
The electronic copy of each RFI can be received by the
companies/organizations which are capable to design, develop and/or
manufacture the system(s).
The companies/organizations, who are willing to receive the RFI, will inform
SSM about their intention and system(s) that they are interested in by sending
an e-mail with the filled Company/Organization Information Scheme/Form and
the Product Catalogue to harp@ssm.gov.tr.
RFI for the related system will be sent via e-mail in electronic media to the
companies/organizations that evaluated by SSM as appropriate from 12.01.2010
to 29.01.2010.
Answers to the RFI shall be submitted to SSM by an official letter, as declared
within the RFI, until 15/02/2010 17:00 hours (local time).

obligatory to SSM and does not mean any legal commitment for SSM to
contract for the goods and services contemplated by RFI.
Other Issues:
Under any condition whatsoever, SSM shall not be responsible or liable for the
payment of the costs, expenses and/or loses, which may occur within or in
relation with the process of preparation, submission and demonstration (if any)
of the information requested in RFI.
Companies/Organizations which will receive RFI are deemed to have accepted
all the rules and conditions stated in Announcement and RFI.
SSM kindly encourages relevant companies/organizations to respond to the RFI
and thanks in advance for their interest.
