Tom Peterson<br />

With more than three decades of collegiate coaching experience in both men’s and women’s<br />

volleyball, coach Peterson understands what it takes to succeed. Coach Peterson has led two<br />

teams to NCAA titles, appeared in dozens of NCAA tournament matches, and received “Coach of<br />

the year “ honors. Many of his former players have been named to all-American teams or<br />

competed for their national teams. He is one of the most accomplished and recognized coaches<br />

in the country.<br />

Joy Nakaishi Brian Scott Laurel Bodily<br />

Former Washington <strong>State</strong><br />

standout and 3rd year<br />

Wildcat,coach Nakaishi is a<br />

fierce competitor and<br />

great trainer.<br />

Prior to <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> coach Nakaishi<br />

coached for Lewis & Clark college as well<br />

as the <strong>University</strong> of Maine. Additionally<br />

she spent several years coaching at Layton<br />

Christian Academy winning the 2009<br />

2A state championship and receiving the<br />

regional coach of the year award.<br />

Coach Scott is a graduate<br />

of <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> and former<br />

<strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> Men’s club<br />

head coach.<br />

Prior to <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> coach Scott was an<br />

assistant at Utah <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong> where he<br />

helped lead them to the NCAA tournament<br />

and a conference title win over nationally<br />

ranked Hawaii. Coach Scott had also spent<br />

several year coaching for local clubs and at<br />

Davis High school.<br />

Coach Bodily will be a<br />

new addition to the<br />

<strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> staff this<br />

year after completing<br />

her NCAA eligibility as a<br />

Wildcat.<br />

As a libero for Utah <strong>State</strong> and <strong>Weber</strong><br />

<strong>State</strong>, coach Bodily tallied more than 1200<br />

digs, 80 aces, and 175 assists.
