<strong>HEARINGS</strong> <strong>AND</strong> <strong>CONFERENCES</strong><br />
<strong>This</strong> <strong>fiscal</strong> <strong>year</strong>, <strong>the</strong> <strong>Board</strong> implemented new language in <strong>Board</strong> Orders directing automatic<br />
revocations, suspensions or temporary suspensions when licensees or applicants violate<br />
existing Orders of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Board</strong>. Listed below are licensees or applicants with suspensions,<br />
revocations or temporary suspensions, after <strong>the</strong> May, 2005 <strong>Board</strong> Meetings. The Subsequent<br />
Action taken due to non-compliance by <strong>the</strong> licensee of an existing <strong>Board</strong> Order changes <strong>the</strong><br />
licensure status which may be listed for a licensee or applicant with <strong>the</strong> May, 2005 <strong>Board</strong><br />
Hearings or Conferences, which follow <strong>the</strong> Subsequent Actions list.<br />
In addition, o<strong>the</strong>r suspensions of licenses occur in compliance with Statute 59 O.S. § 567.17.I of<br />
<strong>the</strong> Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, when a nurse defaults on a contract with <strong>the</strong> Peer Assistance<br />
Program – <strong>the</strong> nurse impaired program of <strong>the</strong> Oklahoma <strong>Board</strong> of Nursing. A suspension letter is<br />
issued, and no Order is entered until <strong>the</strong> matter is heard by <strong>the</strong> Oklahoma <strong>Board</strong> of Nursing.<br />
