<strong>HEARINGS</strong> <strong>AND</strong> <strong>CONFERENCES</strong><br />
<strong>Language</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>Board</strong> <strong>Orders</strong> <strong>directs</strong> automatic revocations, suspensions or temporary<br />
suspensions when licensees or applicants violate exist<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Orders</strong> of the <strong>Board</strong>. Listed below are<br />
licensees or applicants with suspensions, revocations or temporary suspensions, after the<br />
January, 2006 <strong>Board</strong> Meet<strong>in</strong>gs. The Subsequent Action taken due to non-compliance by the<br />
licensee of an exist<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Board</strong> Order changes the licensure status which may be listed for a<br />
licensee or applicant with the January, 2006 <strong>Board</strong> Hear<strong>in</strong>gs or Conferences, which follow<br />
the Subsequent Actions list.<br />
In addition, other suspensions of licenses occur <strong>in</strong> compliance with Statute 59 O.S. §567.17.I of<br />
the Oklahoma Nurs<strong>in</strong>g Practice Act, when a nurse defaults on a contract with the Peer Assistance<br />
Program – the nurse impaired program of the Oklahoma <strong>Board</strong> of Nurs<strong>in</strong>g. A suspension letter is<br />
issued, and no Order is entered until the matter is heard by the Oklahoma <strong>Board</strong> of Nurs<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
