Rules and Regulations<br />
1. Spaces are 10’x15’ and outlined and numbered, you must stay within these boundaries. You<br />
must use designated loading zone areas.<br />
2. Doors will open at 7:00am for loading. Vendors must stay setup the entire time until 3:00pm.<br />
Event hours are 8:00am-3:00pm<br />
3. Space rental includes three tables (8’x2.5’) and two metal folding chairs. You may bring extra<br />
tables to use within your space. There are no discounts for multiple booths.<br />
5. Costs: $25.00 per date. Payment is due at the time of reservation. Register and pay for all<br />
three weekend dates in advance and the cost is $65.00.<br />
6. Spaces may be reserved by e-mailing aleldr@kalcounty.com, calling in advance at (269) 383-<br />
8761, or filling out the online request form. Payment is due at the time of reservation.<br />
7. Cancellations will be accepted up until the Wednesday preceding the event. No refunds will be<br />
given for cancellations made after that.<br />
8. Signage and advertising will be handled by Expo Center staff. If you would like additional <strong>flyer</strong>s<br />
(print or electronic) to distribute, we will provide them to you.<br />
9. Smoking is not allowed inside the buildings, there are designated areas outside for the<br />
convenience of those wishing to smoke.<br />
10. Sale of food items is limited to agricultural products, processed foods, packaged baked goods<br />
and fresh meats/eggs; and must comply with all Federal, State and local regulations. A copy of<br />
your license (if required) should be kept at your booth at all times. The sale of food that could<br />
be considered a “concession item” is not allowed.<br />
11. Sale of firearms, ammunition, explosives, and/or alcoholic beverages is prohibited. The Expo<br />
Center staff reserves the right to remove any other inappropriate items from sale at our sole<br />
discretion. The Expo Center does not limit or restrict <strong>vendor</strong> categories, brand competition or<br />
pricing of items sold at the <strong>market</strong>. The Expo Center is not responsible for the enforcement of<br />
sales restrictions imposed by direct sale companies.<br />
12. No pets or live animals are permitted in the <strong>market</strong> with the exception of tagged service dogs.<br />
13. Concessions will be provided by the Expo Center.<br />
14. All items not sold must be taken by the sellers at tear-down which is 1 hour following closing<br />
time.<br />
15. During inclement weather the Market will be closed if Kalamazoo County Government is<br />
closed. Tune into local closing listings.<br />
16. These rules and regulations may be modified and/or amended as needed without prior notice.<br />
