LISA VANDERPUMP
LIVE Magazine: What television shows were you in as a child actress
and do you think that this experience helped you be down to earth
because you have been around the tv lifestyle since childhood?
Lisa Vanderpump: At 9 years of age my parents enrolled me at the
Corona Stage Academy in London. By the age of 12 I was booking
commercials, making my own money and earned my Equity Card.
I made my film debut in the 1973 dramedy A Touch of Class, playing
the daughter of Glenda Jackson. I worked more than nearly anyone at
that time because I was reliable and showed up on time.
LIVE Magazine: One of the things I find very interesting about you
is your passion for design. How many of your restaurants have you
Lisa Vanderpump: Keep Memory Alive is a charity that’s very close
to my heart. The organization raises awareness and funds in support
of bringing awareness to various neurological disorders, including ALS,
Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.
LIVE Magazine: We have all grown to love Giggy, Lollipop, Pikachu
and Buki. How are their personalities different? - Only answered for
Giggy and Rumpy Pumpy.
Lisa Vanderpump: Every one of my dogs has a different personality.
Rumpy Pumpy is a very naughty bear of a dog. He is outside most of
the day with our gardener running and playing and trying to exhaust
him to no avail.
Giggy on the other hand doesn’t want to be treated as a dog. He
doesn’t want to be like the other dogs. I’ve had a lot of dogs; he’s a
