We take most of your income into account when<br />
we work out your weekly assessed c<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong> but<br />
we will make sure your partner, who is staying at<br />
home, has enough m<strong>on</strong>ey to meet their expenses.<br />
Home<br />
If you are moving into a Home as a l<strong>on</strong>g stay<br />
resident you do not have to pay <strong>Council</strong> Tax.<br />
We will advise you of any allowances which will be<br />
made in your assessment <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> home commitments at<br />
the meeting.<br />
Assessed C<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong><br />
We will make every ef<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>t to tell you how much<br />
you will need to pay towards your <str<strong>on</strong>g>care</str<strong>on</strong>g> at the<br />
meeting and your assessed c<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong> will be<br />
sent to you in writing within a few days of the<br />
meeting.<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>Paying</str<strong>on</strong>g> your C<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong><br />
When you have moved into the Home and you<br />
have been notified of your assessed c<strong>on</strong>tributi<strong>on</strong><br />
you will be sent an invoice <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> the amount which<br />
you need to pay <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> the financial year.<br />
