COURSE DESCRIPTION
Dental Reviews is a unique multifaceted
selection of topics integrating medicine
and dentistry. Presentations made
by Mayo Clinic faculty along with
distinguished visiting faculty will
provide contemporary information and a
comprehensive overview on medical and
dental topics of interest to dental staff
members.
COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course
participants should be able to:
• Relate dental and medical
information to specific challenges
seen in everyday dentistry.
• Review contemporary medical
issues, helping to provide you with
a greater understanding of your
patient’s medical history as it may
impact your dental treatment plan
for that patient.
• Identify and apply evidence based
research regarding contemporary
medical issues pertinent to your
patient’s dental health.

INTENDED AUDIENCE
This program is designed for dentists,
dental hygienists, dental assistants, and
other office staff who desire a clinical
update.
CREDIT
A total of 11.25 continuing education
credits may be earned by attending
Dental Reviews general sessions.
Please Note: This course does not offer
ADA CERP or AGD PACE credit.
PROGRAM LOCATION
The program is held at Mayo Civic
Center, 30 Civic Center Drive Southeast,
Rochester, Minnesota. Meeting facilities
are easily accessible by skyway and
pedestrian subway, which connect Mayo
Civic Center to parking ramps, hotels,
restaurants, and shops.
REGISTRATION
To register online, visit http://www.
mayo.edu/cme/dental-specialties-
2014r360, or complete the attached
registration form and return by mail
or fax. The registration fee includes
tuition, comprehensive course
syllabus, continental breakfasts, break
refreshments, lunch on Friday and
reception. Although it is not Mayo
School of Continuous Professional
Development policy to limit the number
of registrants for a course, conference
room facilities may necessitate closing
of enrollment. Early registration
is strongly advised. A letter of
confirmation will be sent upon receipt
of payment and completed registration
form. Please present this letter when
checking in at the meeting registration
desk.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Your registration fee, less a $75
administrative fee, will be refunded
when written notification is received
by the Mayo School of Continuous
Professional Development before March
14, 2014. No refunds will be made after
March 14, 2014. Cancellations can be
faxed to (507) 284-0532 or emailed to
cme@mayo.edu.
TRAVEL
Rochester, Minnesota is serviced by
a modern international airport with
multiple flights daily from Chicago
and Minneapolis. Access to and from
the airport is provided by taxi, shuttle
service, and rental car. The airport is
located approximately 10 miles from the
Mayo Clinic campus.
Note to Travelers: Several cities in the
United States are named Rochester.

check your baggage, be sure that your

(RST) and that your baggage has been
properly tagged.
