COURSE DESCRIPTION<br />
<strong>Dental</strong> <strong>Reviews</strong> is a unique multifaceted<br />
selection of topics integrating medicine<br />
and dentistry. Presentations made<br />
by <strong>Mayo</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong> faculty along with<br />
distinguished visiting faculty will<br />
provide contemporary information and a<br />
comprehensive overview on medical and<br />
dental topics of interest to dental staff<br />
members.<br />
COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES<br />
Upon completion of this course<br />
participants should be able to:<br />
• Relate dental and medical<br />
information to specific challenges<br />
seen in everyday dentistry.<br />
• Review contemporary medical<br />
issues, helping to provide you with<br />
a greater understanding of your<br />
patient’s medical history as it may<br />
impact your dental treatment plan<br />
for that patient.<br />
• Identify and apply evidence based<br />
research regarding contemporary<br />
medical issues pertinent to your<br />
patient’s dental health.<br />

INTENDED AUDIENCE<br />
This program is designed for dentists,<br />
dental hygienists, dental assistants, and<br />
other office staff who desire a clinical<br />
update.<br />
CREDIT<br />
A total of 11.25 continuing education<br />
credits may be earned by attending<br />
<strong>Dental</strong> <strong>Reviews</strong> general sessions.<br />
Please Note: This course does not offer<br />
ADA CERP or AGD PACE credit.<br />
PROGRAM LOCATION<br />
The program is held at <strong>Mayo</strong> Civic<br />
Center, 30 Civic Center Drive Southeast,<br />
Rochester, Minnesota. Meeting facilities<br />
are easily accessible by skyway and<br />
pedestrian subway, which connect <strong>Mayo</strong><br />
Civic Center to parking ramps, hotels,<br />
restaurants, and shops.<br />

or fax. The registration fee includes<br />
tuition, comprehensive course<br />
syllabus, continental breakfasts, break<br />
refreshments, lunch on Friday and<br />
reception. Although it is not <strong>Mayo</strong><br />
School of Continuous Professional<br />
Development policy to limit the number<br />
of registrants for a course, conference<br />
room facilities may necessitate closing<br />
of enrollment. Early registration<br />
is strongly advised. A letter of<br />
confirmation will be sent upon receipt<br />
of payment and completed registration<br />
form. Please present this letter when<br />
checking in at the meeting registration<br />
desk.<br />
CANCELLATION POLICY<br />
Your registration fee, less a $75<br />
administrative fee, will be refunded<br />
when written notification is received<br />
by the <strong>Mayo</strong> School of Continuous<br />
Professional Development before March<br />
14, 2014. No refunds will be made after<br />
March 14, 2014. Cancellations can be<br />

a modern international airport with<br />
multiple flights daily from Chicago<br />
and Minneapolis. Access to and from<br />
the airport is provided by taxi, shuttle<br />
service, and rental car. The airport is<br />
located approximately 10 miles from the<br />
<strong>Mayo</strong> <strong>Clinic</strong> campus.<br />
Note to Travelers: Several cities in the<br />
United States are named Rochester.<br />

check your baggage, be sure that your<br />
destination is Rochester, Minnesota
(RST) and that your baggage has been<br />
