Course Description 

The Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board 

Review (IMBR) course is an intensive 

program designed to prepare physicians 

for the American Board of Internal 

Medicine (ABIM) initial and recertification 

examinations. 

The course is also ideal for physicians, 

physicians assistants, and nurse 

practitioners who are seeking a general 

review of internal medicine. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops 

or tablets for viewing during the course. 

NEW this year, an Apple and Android 

compatible app that provides course 

information and lecture materials with 

note-taking capability. 

Course Learning Objectives 

At the completion of this course,

The Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Board Review 

(IMBR) will be held July 15-19, 2013. Course 

headquarters will be located in Heritage Hall 

on the subway level of the Kahler Grand 

Hotel, 20 West Second Avenue, Rochester, 

MN. Meeting facilities are easily accessible by 

skyway and pedestrian subway, which 

connect Mayo Clinic to shops, restaurants, 

and hotels.
