STU Law Named #1 in Conferring Law Degrees on
Hispanic Students
St. Thomas University School of Law is number one
on the Top 25 list for schools conferring the most
law degrees on Hispanic students, according to The
Hispanic Outlook in Higher
Education magazine. The
magazine featured the law
school in its December 4,
2006 issue for conferring
63 law degrees on
Hispanic students in
2005, representing
38% of total J.D.
degrees conferred.
“St. Thomas
University School of

St. Thomas University School of Law is
consistently recognized for its commitment to
diversity, ranking eighth in the U.S. for Best
Environment for Minority Students by The Princeton
Review. U.S. News & World Report ranks the law
school in a tie for fourth place in their Law School
Diversity Index and the American Bar Association
ranked the law school first in total Hispanic
enrollment among the 189 ABA-accredited law
schools in its Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law
Schools (2006 edition).
