This program is designed to provide students with a gre<strong>at</strong>er awareness of the exiting, challenging, and rewarding career opportunities<br />

th<strong>at</strong> exists with a degree in agricultural and environmental sciences or family and consumer sciences. Participants spend the three<br />

weeks being orient<strong>at</strong>ed to the career p<strong>at</strong>hs offered by each of the seven instructional programs in the college. This program’s<br />

objectives are to initi<strong>at</strong>e gre<strong>at</strong> career opportunities for the students and increase the number of students declaring an interest in the<br />

College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences.<br />

Students completing the 11 th grade spring <strong>2012</strong>-minimum GPA 2.5; Spring <strong>2012</strong> gradu<strong>at</strong>ing seniors-ACT (SAT<br />

equivalent) composite score of 20 and above, or High School GPA of 2.5 or gre<strong>at</strong>er, or rank in the top 50% of high school<br />

gradu<strong>at</strong>ing class AND require no more than ONE remedial course; currently enrolled students must be in good standing<br />

with the university and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. All-applicants must be interested in agricultural sciences, consumer<br />

sciences, business or science.<br />

There is no cost to the student.<br />
