• As a specialist in fertilising, SULKY has innovated by developping the
trailed machines to accommodate the “large width” spreading device
known as the Epsilon System, the first to come from numerical technology
(CEMIB (1) testing bench).
• In accordance with European environmental norms concerning fertiliser
granule spreading on field borders, the Epsilon System is equipped with the
TRIBORD 3D device, a complete and comfortable system to use (in-cab
control (2) ).
• The POLYVRAC XT range also offers a full choice of options that will
spread all types of products from compost derivatives in « pellet » form,
humid bulk, and of course dry powders for soil maintenance.

If we examine this official curve obtained with the Epsilon
System on the DIAS test bench (in Aarhus, Denmark), we can
see extremely large overlap areas between passes, this can be
confirmed by this triangular formed curve.

Thanks to its extremely large overlap revealed on the DIAS test
bench (in Denmark), the Epsilon System brings to you:
• a perfect transverse spread to cope with varying quality
fertilisers which is important on a Worldwide fertiliser market
• Total granule care, without creating dust, which is
indispensable to obtain “large width” spreading
• Very low sensitivity to setting or driving errors, and even to
acceptable cross winds.

12-44 m
Exclusive to SULKY : width setting
through adjustable chutes
• Simplicity: by moving the granule placement point on the
discs, the width setting is “stepless”, a decisive advantage
to maintain your working width with fertilisers whose
performances can change from one batch to another ;
• Performance: “12 - 44 m”; depending on the chosen set
of vanes, “stepless” adjustment from 12 to 28 m, from 24
to 36 m or from 32 to 44 m*
• Logical: by moving up the graduated marks, the
spreadwidth increases, and vice versa ;
• Comfort: the large setting quadrants (made from
unalterable synthetic material), with easy to use levers, are
readable from a standing position ;
• Safety: at no time is it necessary to touch the discs..
* If the physical characteristics of the fertiliser allow this maximum width

SULKY has equipped the Epsilon System’s disc with a specially
designed short vane to spread on borders, and not just the usual
deflector which changes by force the granule trajectory.
• Even spreading, because the SULKY vane maintains the granulation
• Easy to use : the TRIBORD 3D is completely built-in to the SULKY
setting system
• Respect of the European environmental norm EN 13 739
(if necessary, less than 3 granules for 1000 projected past the field
border !).

VISION DPB :
electronics
for controlled
applications
On the POLYVRAC XT “pack VISION DPB”, a “top of the range” electronic system
controls electric actuators. These actuators automatically correct the rate shutter
openings depending on your required rate per hectare.
The electronics offer a number of further advantages, such as easy rate setting and
access to Precision Farming techniques.
• The DPA feed, driven mechanically through a sprocket and dry chain, remains
operational, even if the tractor with the VISION-X control box is unavailable.
• Rate setting assistance by automatically calculating the calibration time, and then
automatically adjusting the electric actuators.
• In-cab control of the TRIBORD 3D border device.
• In-cab rate modulation :
- by 10 % stages, up or down ;
- on the total rate or right/left independently ;
- possibility to close one or both shutters from the VISION control box.
• ready for traceability : memory storage of the settings for 8 fertilisers, save field
operations (farm, field, type of fertiliser spread…).
• Prepared for Precision Farming, without the need of a PCMCIA reader, thanks to
the built-in SD card reader and the GPS compatibility with current systems on the
market (Greenstar, Agrimap+, N-Sensor, Agrocom, Satplan, Farmstar, Soyl/Cérélia,
Sonéo, Farmworks, Fieldstar…)

Made from steel, the 700 mm diameter discs on the “special humid
bulk” device have 5 spreading vanes very resistant to shocks.
You can mount or demount these discs without any tools

with 2.06 m loading width and 4.00 m
long, the POLYVRAC XT monocoque
hopper proves easy to refill with a bucket.
1 - Mechanical drive through belts
This device is dedicated to spreading soil conditioners like lime
or organic bulk like pellets. Fitted with Ø 700 mm discs and 5
spreading vanes, it allows rates of up to 5 T/ha on 12 m
2 - Mechanical drive through gearboxes
This device is versatile for spreading soil conditioners like lime
as well as granule fertilisers (maximum rate of 3 T/ha on 12 m
with humid bulk). The following discs are interchangeable:

3 - Hydraulic drive

A reliable rate,
and practical settings

800 mm wide floorbelt : the POLYVRAC XT have
versatile feeding belts and steep hopper sides providing
an excellent flow of bulk products.
Continuous auto-centering of the belt thanks to the
conical-cylinder tensioning rollers. Fitted with upper and
lower scrapers for permanent cleaning, these rollers do
not require any specific maintenance.
Exclusive to SULKY : connecting the “anti-slip” DPA
system is done easily through hydraulic control (1
“double acting” spool-valve) of a a system near
the wheel. The possibility of disconnecting the
sprocket for road transport is proof of strength.

A very precise feeding system
With mechanical drive through a dry chain and sprocket,
the SULKY POLYVRAC XT fedding system provides the
following advantages:
• rate strictly proportionnal to forward speed, whatever the
field landscape ;
• insensitive to wheelslip, while requiring less horsepower
(against a friction system)
• possibility to fit other wheels, depending on field
conditions for example

The POLYVRAC XT with booms folds to road transport
position from the cab ; an hydraulic stopper means you can
take to the road safely ; the booms have anti-dust screens
and protections around the wheels tp avoid rubbing.

it is part of the standard features.
Sieve positioned in the upper part of the hopper, a choice
of either steel or polyester depending on the products to
be spread: unlike a sieve positioned near the base of a
hopper, there is no risk of blocking the whole machine in
case a humid product clogs.
Tyres : as standard, the POLYVRAC XT 100 is fitted with 18.4-R30
tyres, while the XT 130 has 18.4-R34 tyres for a high underframe clearance.
