The profitability of mineral fertilizers is largely dependent on controlling
spreading in the fields. SULKY is a specialist in fertilization, and has
developed its spreading technique DPX System ® for an even spread pattern.
This has been tested and retested with every type of fertilizer on the market;

the pressure of the fertilizer when fully loaded or when
on bumpy surfaces.
Oscillating agitator (SULKY patent) giving a constant
smooth flow of fertilizer irrespective of the quantity in
the hopper. The flexible round tines are gentle on the
granules, even when the doors areclosed (half-width
spreading, U-turns, etc.).

Even distribution
by Multi-overlap
Tiered ejector blades (SULKY patent) of different
lengths: each tier releases a layer that covers and
naturally supplements the others (see the spread pattern
graph below).
Discs with moderate, constant rotation speed: even
at the maximum working width of the machine, the
granules are discharged appropriately for their physical
characteristics, essential for optimum spreading.
The distribution quality is demonstrated on the transversal
curves and qualified by the coefficient of variation (CV); this is
considered by experts to be “very good” when it falls within
the area of 5-7%.

Simple adjustment a priority
“Continuous” adjustable working width:
by means of swivel chutes (alteration of the dropping
point on the disc): move up the graduations to increase
width and down to reduce it, without touching the discs
or even the blades.
