A logo was created by the <strong>McNair</strong><br />
Team coaches. It was used when<br />
<strong>McNair</strong> hosted the first event and<br />
then used to make T-shirts for team<br />
members.

Breakfast – breakfast bars and low<br />
sugar fruit drinks were obtained.<br />
Fruit was also provided for the day.<br />
Grapes, bananas, oranges, and<br />
apples were the usual fare.

In addition to the fruit, healthy<br />
sandwiches were bought from<br />
Subway. Drinks included bottled<br />
water.

pleased and commented on the fact<br />
that students were receiving healthy<br />
food.
Science Focus<br />
Increased participation was seen this year as<br />
desired in the original proposal.<br />
1) Eight students participated in preparing for<br />
competition compared to one student last<br />
year.

2) A new coach, Mrs. Stephens-Wilson, joined<br />
the team to prepare science competitors.

3) Three students competed in three<br />
competitions.<br />
4) Team scores significantly increased during<br />
the three weeks of competition. Our students<br />
became contenders to place. They are much<br />
better prepared for next year due to tutoring<br />
and the new manuals although more content<br />
specific manuals are needed.

Success at <strong>STALL</strong><br />
A total of 75 students participated<br />
in the three <strong>STALL</strong> tournaments<br />
with 38 qualifying for the<br />
Tournament of Champions.
