TOURNAMENT<br />
BLED <strong>2010</strong><br />
INVITATION<br />
HC Young Categories Bled is the organizer of the <strong>15</strong> th International <strong>Ice</strong> <strong>Hockey</strong> Tournament Bled<br />
<strong>2010</strong> for PEE-WEE category, which will take place in Bled <strong>Ice</strong> rink from:<br />
- March 26 th to March 28 th <strong>2010</strong> players born in 1998 and younger<br />
- April 09 th to April 11 th <strong>2010</strong> players born in 1996 and younger<br />
Each <strong>tournament</strong> hosts 12 teams. Each team in <strong>tournament</strong> play at least 5 games.<br />
We kindly ask you to confirm your participation on the <strong>tournament</strong> up to January 31 th <strong>2010</strong> at the<br />
latest. Send us a list of players (names, dates of birth, suit numbers), coach, team leader (manager) and<br />
number of other attendants. Also provide us a picture of team and club logo. Named data is needed to<br />
publish our bulletin and to book reservations in the hotels.<br />
Deposit & entry fee is 300,00 EUR. The deposit and entry fee must be receeved by our organization at<br />
the latest by February 5 th <strong>2010</strong>. If we will not recieve the payment, we cannot guarantie you your<br />
participation on the <strong>tournament</strong>.<br />
The entry fee for the <strong>tournament</strong> is 200,00 EUR and goes into <strong>ice</strong> rink rental and organisational<br />
matters, 100,00 EUR will be returned to each team upon arrival.

The teams selected to participate on our <strong>tournament</strong> will recieve a letter of confirmation by January<br />
31 st <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
We will send you the competition schedule and proposition subsequently, after we receive all<br />
registrations.<br />
We offer you a staying in a B category hotel (<strong>15</strong>0 meters from the <strong>Ice</strong> rink). Full accommodation in<br />
DBR per person per day is 38,00 EUR.<br />

<strong>Ice</strong> <strong>hockey</strong> <strong>tournament</strong> for category PEE - WEE<br />
PROPOSITIONS OF COMPETITION<br />
1. The competition on the <strong>tournament</strong> is based upon the rules of IIHF and HZS.<br />
2. The <strong>tournament</strong> for category PEE-WEE takes place from<br />
Friday, 26 th March to Sunday, 28 th March <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
3. 12 teams from Slovenia and Europe are invited.<br />
4. Teams are divided into 4 groups. Inside every group all teams compete among each other. The first and<br />
the second team in the group will play quarterfinals round system A1:B2, B1:A2 and D1:C2, C1:D2.<br />
The third team in the group will play for places 9-12 with others third placed teams.<br />
Winners in quarterfinal games will play in semifinal A, losers in quarterfinal games will play in<br />
semifinal B.<br />
Losers in semifinal B will play for places 5-7, winners in semifinal A will play for places 1-3.<br />
5. The point system:<br />
- victory / 2 points<br />
- draw / 1 point<br />
- defeat / 0 points<br />
6. In case, that the score difference in the game is larger than 7 goals, the game clock<br />
doesn’t stop during stoppages.<br />
7. If more teams have the same number of points, the following is taken into consideration: -<br />
match result between both teams<br />
- goal difference of the teams with the same number of points<br />
- more given goals<br />
- less penalty minutes<br />
- lotto<br />
8. Players born in 1998 and younger are allowed to compete in the <strong>tournament</strong>.<br />
9. A match length is 3 x 12 minutes. <strong>Ice</strong> surface is cleaned before every game.<br />
10. Matches are judged by referees, provided by the organiser.<br />
11. Penalties derive from a rule book.<br />
12. Player, who is punished by a game penalty, may not play the next match.<br />
13. Team technical director is responsible to submit passports of players (or proper personal<br />
document) to check player’s age.<br />
14. All complaints are solved by technical serv<strong>ice</strong>.<br />
<strong>15</strong>. The winning team is awarded a cup and players also receive medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. All the<br />
other players will receive the memorial medals. The awards are also given for the best player, shooter,<br />
goalie, defenseman and a team for fair play.<br />
16. Organiser ensures the medical care in the <strong>Ice</strong> hall for the time of time <strong>tournament</strong>. Teams and<br />
players compete by their own responsibility.<br />
17. The closing ceremony takes place right after the end of the <strong>tournament</strong>.

PROPOSITIONS OF COMPETITION<br />
