9. Overseas Members Transferring with two PFA Failures<br />
The transfer restriction policy for transferring members with two PFA failures in the most<br />
recent four year period was established to help reduce the costs associated with having<br />
to bring a member back to the Continental United States (CONUS) in a relatively short<br />
period of time.<br />
Members stationed overseas with two or more PFA failures are required to pass the<br />
next official PFA in order to transfer back to CONUS. If the member does not pass, the<br />
member will be processed for separation. Members already stationed overseas, with<br />
two or more PFA failures, are restricted from transferring to another overseas location.<br />
