Unsure of your Child’s Swim Level?
We offer complimentary swim evaluations for our lesson program.
Please take advantage of this if you are coming from another community or
have not enrolled in our classes before.
Evaluations usually take 5 minutes, will help ensure your child gets into the
correct level and can be handled during most public swims by a lifeguard or
aquatic supervisor.
Please keep in mind if it is a busy swim session, you may have to wait to
have your evaluation done. Our evaluations are free, but if you wish to stay
for a swim, you must pay admission. If your child is under the age of 7, we
will need an adult or guardian to assist the child in the water during the
assessment.
Lesson Supervision
During all lesson times, a lesson supervisor is available to assist you with
questions or concerns about your child’s swimming lesson. The lesson
supervisor also assists and gives feedback to our instructors to ensure we
provide the highest quality lesson possible. The lesson supervisor can be found
wearing a red shirt.
Fitness Options During Lessons
You may choose to take time for your own personal fitness while your children
are in lessons. During lessons you are welcome to pay admission and do a
number of activities including: length swimming, relax in the hot tub or sauna,
participate in a fitness class or use the weight room.
Swimming Before and After Lessons
In order to provide quality lesson instruction we have designated areas for
lessons only. However, children registered in swim lesson may use other areas
of the pool to practice with you. Please see the Customer Service desk.
Grade 5, 6 & 7 Accessibility Passes
Are you a grade 5 & 6 student who lives in Delta? If so, you are eligible for a free
facility pass to any drop in program at any Delta Facility. Bring a parent or young
adult for free. Are you a grade 7 student who lives in Delta? Come to any Delta
Facility to get your free 10 pass card for free admission for swimming, skating or
gymnasium activities.
