Taekwondo Triumph!<br />
Year 10 student Daseul took third place in a worldwide<br />
taekwondo competition in Korea.<br />
Daseul and her partner signed up for the Junior 4<br />
International Pairs Poomse competition. After some<br />
tough contests, the pair came third, which is an<br />
incredible achievement. The winning team was from<br />
the Philippines while the runners-up were from<br />
China.<br />
Daseul eventually came home with three medals and<br />
a trophy.<br />
The competition, held at the end of August, is the largest taekwondo competition of its kind<br />
in the world. The 2014 World Taekwondo Hanmadang attracted 3,400 players from 53<br />
nations, which is the most ever.<br />
