Year 4<br />
Mr Paul Normark<br />
Paul Normark has already lived in Thailand for five years in the mid<br />
1990s and is now excited to be back. Paul has been working as a<br />
primary teacher in Sweden for the last six years and has also taught<br />
on Teacher Education programmes at University. He is looking<br />
forward to work in the international environment of Garden and enjoy<br />
the Thai cuisine, culture and climate. When not busy planning<br />
lessons, Paul intends to play some tennis, work out by the beach and<br />
travel around Asia.<br />
Year 5<br />
Julie Hanratty<br />
Julie Hanratty joins us from England; she previously trained and<br />
worked in law, prosecuting and conducting cases for Local<br />
Government, before making ‘The best decision of her life’ and<br />
retraining as a Primary School teacher. She is passionate about<br />
instilling a love of reading and writing in her students, and won a<br />
children’s story writing competition in 2009. This is Julie’s first visit to<br />
Thailand, and she is looking forward to exploring all the wonderful<br />
things the country has to offer, with her husband and two children.<br />
Year 6<br />
James Krishnan<br />
James Krishnan has joined GIS this year as a Year 6 teacher. James<br />
has recently moved to Thailand from the UK and is looking forward to<br />
a new challenge. He has previously worked in London and the North<br />
East of England. A keen sportsman, James will be coaching the<br />
Primary boys’ football team this year and hopes to model the team on<br />
his beloved Newcastle United. In his spare time James enjoys golf<br />
and taking part in long-distance running events.
