secondary education programs. SDS was awarded a contract by the United
States Office of Education to offer a six week NDEA Guidance and Counseling
Institute. Special education programs included speech correction and
teaching of the mentally retarded. Introduced as additional media in the
CLS were a Min-Max machine, and listening post and kinescope recordings.
