Help with the cost of childcare
Working Tax Credit Childcare Element could save many
families up to 70% of their childcare costs. If you are eligible and you
pay for childcare that is registered with the CSSIW, you could receive
up to £122.50 per week for 1 child or a maximum of £210 per week

Childcare vouchers are available through employer supported
schemes and can save many parents over £1,000 per year through
their tax savings, as the vouchers are deducted from salary before tax.
Large and small companies offer childcare vouchers and most childcare
providers accept them as payment. To find out more about vouchers call
the Family Information Service.
A family will usually find that they are better off using either
childcare vouchers or the Childcare Element of Working Tax Credit but
not both.
Ask your childcare provider about flexible payment options,
such as spreading the cost of holiday childcare over the year or direct
debits.
