RESOLUTION NO. 13<br />

Offered by Councilwoman Parker, seconded by Councilman Hayner, Adopted by vote <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Board: Ayes: Wormuth, Parker, Hotaling, Hayner Abstain: Polak Carried.<br />

RESOLVED, that the <strong>Town</strong> Board appoints firm <strong>of</strong> Clough, Harbour and Associates to provide<br />

engineering services to the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Halfmoon</strong> for the year <strong>2010</strong> on a case by case basis by<br />

separate resolutions, or, if a resolution is not required, by written letter agreement with the<br />

Supervisor and authorize the Supervisor to enter into contract on behalf <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Halfmoon</strong> with Clough, Harbour and Associates, subject to the review and approval <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong><br />

Attorney.<br />

RESOLUTION NO. 14<br />

Offered by Councilwoman Parker, seconded by Councilman Hotaling, Adopted by vote <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Board: Ayes: Wormuth, Polak, Parker, Hotaling, Hayner<br />

RESOLVED, that the <strong>Town</strong> Board approves the following <strong>Town</strong> agreements and contracts and<br />

authorize the Supervisor to execute:<br />

CAPTAIN be paid $81,885, Saratoga Center for the Family be paid $6,000 Care Links<br />

be paid $11,000, whenever funds are available for <strong>2010</strong>, and Clifton Park-<strong>Halfmoon</strong> Ambulance<br />

Corp be paid $1,046,993; YMCA Agreement for <strong>2010</strong>-2011 be paid $10,000.<br />

Resolution to authorize entering into Specialized Law Enforcement Service Agreement<br />

with the County <strong>of</strong> Saratoga Office <strong>of</strong> the Sheriff for a term <strong>of</strong> two years, in the not to exceed<br />

amount <strong>of</strong> $201,378 for the year <strong>2010</strong>.<br />

The Supervisor opened the regular portion <strong>of</strong> the January 6 th meeting<br />

REPORTS OF BOARD MEMBERS AND TOWN ATTORNEY<br />

Councilman Polak stated he thanks the Highway department for the tremendous job they did,<br />

even though we didn’t have large snows, there was blowing, drifting and icing. He stated he also<br />

commends the Highway Superintendent for the way he is splitting up the work forces and not<br />

taking advantage <strong>of</strong> any overtime and getting the men out there when needed in smaller groups<br />

and doing what he can to maintain his budget.<br />

Attorney Murphy stated she requests that the Board consider a resolution permitting up to four<br />

people to attend the training seminars provided by the Association <strong>of</strong> <strong>Town</strong>s from February 14 th<br />

to on or about February 17 th including the cost <strong>of</strong> lodging and any fees associated with attending<br />

the seminars.<br />

RESOLUTION NO. 15<br />

Offered by Councilman Polak, seconded by Councilman Hayner: Approved by vote <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Board: Ayes: Wormuth, Polak, Parker, Hotaling, Hayner<br />

RESOLVED, that the <strong>Town</strong> Board authorizes and permits up to four (4) <strong>Town</strong> employees to<br />

attend the Association <strong>of</strong> <strong>Town</strong>s <strong>2010</strong> Training School and Annual Meeting in New York City<br />

on February 14 th to one or about February 17 th , <strong>2010</strong> including the cost <strong>of</strong> lodging and any fees<br />

associated with attending the seminars.<br />

The Supervisor opened public privilege for discussion <strong>of</strong> agenda topics; no questions or<br />

comments.<br />
