The Essex County Greenbelt Association is a private l<strong>and</strong> trust that holds title to 357.7 acres <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong> in <strong>North</strong><br />
<strong>Andover</strong> (Table 5.1.6) <strong>and</strong> controls conservation restrictions on one other parcel. These include the<br />
Farnsworth Reservation, which abuts the <strong>Town</strong> Farm <strong>and</strong> Smolak Farm, Potters Field on the shores <strong>of</strong> Lake<br />
Cochichewick, <strong>and</strong> a number <strong>of</strong> parcels abutting the Boxford State Forest. In 2004, Tom Zahoruiko, a local<br />
developer generously donated Carter Fields Reservation to the Essex County Greenbelt Association as part <strong>of</strong> a<br />
<strong>Plan</strong>ned Residential Development stipulation. The site is comprised <strong>of</strong> 85-acres <strong>of</strong> forested upl<strong>and</strong>s, <strong>and</strong> an<br />
extensive beaver-created wetl<strong>and</strong> that houses the largest Great Blue Heron rookery in Essex County.<br />
